There are a tonne of great quality bargains to be had and an ever-growing number of ways to find them.
Second hand sales, often called Tack Sales or Table Top Sales, can be one of the best ways to bag a bargain.
Tack Sales are often arranged by organisations such as local sanctuaries, which sell items that have been donated to them.
Some of my best bargains have been from Tack Sales, including a £10 Premier Equine fly rug (needed a bit of a repair) and a £5 Prolite Tripad (with all the inserts).
Table tops sales are often organised by charities or local riding clubs and you'll usually have a mixture of local businesses and individuals (who've had a clear out).
The easiest way to find these are by joining local horse riding groups on Facebook and following organisations that usually host them.
